The Council’s comprehensive Operations & Performance Benchmarking Survey is now open. This survey is designed to provide valuable insights and objective performance measures for Council member firms, and we need your feedback. Because the survey covered various topics including organizational growth, organization design, staffing levels, budget allocations, so it will require participation from several members of your senior leadership team. Your responses will be aggregated, and your firm will remain anonymous. We ask that you take the survey by COB Thursday, August 8.

Virtual Workshop: Strengthen your Role as A Trusted Advisor
A Three-part Training | August 20, 22 & 27

Learning how to foster, build and maintain trust is critical to achieving successful, long-term relationships with your clients. This workshop will help you come into your own as a trusted advisor and distinguish yourself in a competitive sales environment. This workshop will take place over three days in the month of August (8/20, 8/22, 8/27). Participants will:

• Explore the dynamics of trust and influence
• Hone their listening skills and learn how to deal with difficult conversations
• Understand buyer psychology

The Insurance Professional School provides employees who are new to insurance brokerage with the knowledge and skills needed to excel within your firm. The Council has partnered with the top risk management and insurance universities and organizations around the world to develop two comprehensive programs – one for Property/Casualty and one for Employee Benefits.

Register today to participate in curated breakout sessions and workshops designed for brokerage leaders during The Council’s first-ever Operations & Working Groups Forum, Nov. 6-8, in New Orleans, LA. In August, registered attendees will customize their agenda by confirming their Working Group (members only) and selecting two breakout sessions from the list below. Leadership Lessons from WWII and the Industry Innovation Blitz will be added to the agenda for all attendees.
