How It Works
The Insurance Professional School is intentionally designed to allow participants the time they need to do their job while simultaneously building foundational knowledge and skills.
The curriculum is brought to life by the extensive use of case studies, and is thoughtfully designed to accelerate the learning curve, provide greater confidence in front of clients and create a customer-centric, advisory mindset.

Upon completion of the program, participants will receive the Professional Risk Consultation (PRC®) designation from The Council and The Institutes.
Program Overview
In partnership with The Institutes and the University of Georgia, The Insurance Professional School for Property/Casualty is a hybrid learning experience combining online, self-paced coursework with weekly live, virtual sessions led by University of Georgia Risk Management & Insurance professors. Completion of course curriculum and exams results in the Professional Risk Consultant (PRC®) early-career designation from The Council and The Institutes.

The Council and The Institutes are proud to offer the PRC designation, which demonstrates foundational knowledge of property/casualty insurance coverages, risk management skills and an overall understanding of the industry.
Earning the designation requires completion of course curriculum that is offered in two ways:
1) A hybrid learning experience through The Council’s Insurance Professional School for Property/Casualty
2) or on-demand programming through The Institutes Agent & Broker Group
